Hello, I am Doriana, the founder of Curls and Curves Lingerie!
As a curvier or thicker girl, I would often feel frustrated and unhappy with my body because I could never find a size that fit me. Every shopping experience left me feeling anxious and depressed like something was wrong with my body. The inability to feel good about myself gave rise to negative emotions of extreme self-consciousness, eventually snowballing into different health issues. In reality, it was never me, the clothing industry has always been limited to curvier women even if the average size is 16 UK.
During my struggles, I decided to become a lingerie entrepreneur and help more women accept themselves in a society that constantly tells them not to. I want women of all shapes and sizes to feel beautiful and sexy because I know that no matter what your size is, you will always find flaws with your body. Another major reason why I wanted to dabble in lingerie is because it's still a taboo subject for many women. I believe every woman deserves to feel confident and release her suppressed inner sexual energy. The pieces in my inventory are of course meant to spice things up between you and your partner but also for you to feel comfortable with your own sexuality when you casually lounge around your house in a sultry teddy sipping wine.
